Hi, FANI:

According to your attached file, it seems that you set a wrong COGS GL account.
The error message shows that you set the COGS GL account to post is 70000, is this account set in you GL account?
Please set a right COGS GL account in the setup->COGS GL interface Postings, then click it. Usually, the GL account is set by a selection input form, it should not be wrong.
Or maybe somebody delete the GL account 70000, but if so the system would prompt a warning and prohibited a deleting.

Then what's the version of the webERP you used? Is it a development version?

            Best regards!
            Exson

Re: error with invoice

FANI BEKRI
Hello again,

I went to setup->COGS GL interface Postings and I see 2 GL Accounts . One GL Account for the " 5000 -Cost of  Sales" and one GL Account for the "4100 -Product/Service Sales "  and the other fields( Area, Stock Category, Sales Type ) have the value "Any Other". Should I change the value in the fields  or should I add any other GL Account ? I can't find GL Account 70000.

The version of weberp is 3.11.1

Thanks for your help.

Hi, FANI:

Sorry for the mistake. It should be debtors control account GL account which set in the Company Preferences. From Setup->Company Preference->debtors control account GL account.
The error messages shows that there is no such account no. as 70000 in your GL account.
But I am still very confused why this happens. It seems that this mistake has been checked out when you set up you Company Preference.
              Just for reference.
              Best regards!

Re: error with invoice

FANI BEKRI
Hi,

I checked the field "Debtors control  GL acount"  as you said and in the drop-down field there isn't any account with the number 70000.
Do I have to create such an account ?
Can I "connect" the sales with an other GL acount, so the order can proceed to invoice ?

Thank you for your help.

Fani

Hello again,

I went to setup->COGS GL interface Postings and I see 2 GL Accounts . One GL
Account for the " 5000 -Cost of  Sales" and one GL Account for the "4100
-Product/Service Sales "  and the other fields( Area, Stock Category, Sales
Type ) have the value "Any Other". Should I change the value in the fields
or should I add any other GL Account ? I can't find GL Account 70000.

The version of weberp is 3.11.1

Thanks for your help.

Hi Exson,

I already run upgrade one by one.  That why i found that many error through
upgrade.

I will try to run again tomorrow.  However, the mysql was changed
already.    I am not sure if the upgarde script can work again.

Thanks

I am also using the language zh_cn.utf8

*Steven:*

I've check the scripts of those upgrading sql,  it shows that the
sql function is to add new tables to database or alter some tables. So if
you skip those script from 3.08 to 3.11. These tables in the databases are
quite different. The error to run the php script of 3.11 directly is
inavoidable.
I think your question from 1~5 are from this. You should run the
Z_upgrade scripts one by one. Then your data should be intact.

you can check the http://www.weberp.org/HowToupgrade website for
details:
Upgrading the Database to Run with the New Scripts
Log in to your new system with a system administrator login and password.

>From version 3.04 there has been automated scripts that perform the upgrade
to the database automatically. You must run each of these scripts in turn -
by entering the URL directly in your browser's "location"/navigation bar.

Z_Upgrade_3.04-3.05.php

follow the prompts to perform the database changes - any changes required to
the data structure will also be performed using these scripts.
then ...
Z_Upgrade_3.05-3.06.php
Z_Upgrade_3.06-3.07.php
Z_Upgrade_3.07-3.08.php
etc...

You will need to do this process for each company you run webERP on.
That's it!

concerning to utf8 code, I don't know what kind of Language is used by you.
I've revise some script to display Simplify Chinese for weberp3.11.2. I have
no experience about the 3.11.3. It seems that you did not put class.pdf.php
in your includes directory. Please check if the file is there.

To your question 7~8, could you like to study the scripts
LanguageSetup.php in the includes path? It will show you the function _( ).
And I have some reply about the Transilation question from Baran. It may
solve parts of your question.

   Best regards!

   Exson Qu

Re: error with invoice

Hi, FANI,

I've checked the original setting of webERP, it is Accounts Receivable (1100). If the settting for your system is the same, the invoice amount should be posted to this account.
So there is two way may solve your problem:
            1) according to the error message, you can add a account numbered 70000. But this method will mess things up if your original Detbors Control account is not this one.
            2) reset your Company Preference to set the 'Debtor Control GL account' as Accounts Receivable (1100) (or the same meaning account set by yourself in you GL account, you should ask your accountant for this). Then push the Update button.  It should connect the sales with the account set now in theory.
But since I don't know why your problem happened, I'm not sure it will help you.

           Best regards!
           Exson
